Personality:
Niji-taki is a very calm, studious dragon. He is a self-styled scholar of archaeology and loves to both read about past cultures and "experience" them firsthand by going to dig sites. He was one of the first Schattarneki through the Gate when Lakota and Kaere went to rescue as many of the dragons as they could. He has a quiet bravery that manifests whenever one of his friends -- dragon or otherwise -- is threatened or harmed. He would lay his entire life on the line for another being.
Niki-taki adores his Bondmate, Spaulding, as the marten-unicorn hybrid is a creature torn from the past through a magical accident. A victim of the infamous vivisectionist of the 1800s, Dr. Moreau, Spaulding is an intelligent creature who spends a great deal of time talking with his Bond-dragon about the past.
