After a moment, the two separate and the striped one trots on again, glancing over its shoulder to make sure you're following.
You appear to have interrupted a pair of the critters grooming each other. The larger greenish one pauses from licking the smaller one's headfur (which is now quite messed up), and both jump to their paws... and hooves, cavorting around you briefly.

The white-striped one leads you away again. Suddenly something large, black, and hissing rises out of the grass in front of you.

Your white-striped guide hisses back, and the black one yowls, swiping one paw at your guide. The striped one puffs itself up, looming larger and larger, glaring at the other. The two seem to be now firmly lodged in an old, familiar battle for dominance, and you get the feeling you've overstayed your welcome in their area. Maybe it's best you move along.
