History/Backstory:
Kilara's entire family was killed mysteriously in one of the infrequent Gate malfunctions when she was a whelp. The entire collie clan was Gating to a beach planet for a vacation, but only tiny toddler Kilara stumbled out of the Gate on the other side. Her entire family - mother, father, grandmother, and 15 siblings - had disappeared somewhere in the interdimensional magical space between worlds. The Gate attendant on the beach planet rescued the pup and returned her to Daralain. Kilara was raised in a series of orphanages, never losing her dynamically sunny outlook on life. Eventually, when Kilara turned 18, Lakota recruited the young collie and put her in charge of most of the administrative duties in the Splintyr Sector. She manages paperwork and keeps records, and has eagerly adopted Lakota, Zehklos, Kaere, and pretty much every other canid in the Sitheil Tirean caverns as a "packsister" or "packbrother". This is much to Kaere's consternation, for the wolf must work closely with the collie in Splintyr, and Kilara is fond of sneaking up on "packsister Kae" and administering hugs.
Personality:
Kilara is always eager to help. Unfortunately, her eagerness often spills over into the tasks she attempts to accomplish - often bringing them crashing down around her floppy ears. But she always manages to escape unscathed - it's always someone else holding the bag after the collie has bounded happily onto her next project. It's safe to say she's clumsy, naieve, and easily exciteable - but her good qualities run even deeper than the bad. She has a true heart of gold, and will give 500% percent to help anyone, anywhere. She is the kind of being who would give a kidney to a total stranger if the stranger needed a transplant. Her favorite thing to do is give people hugs. Don't get the impression that she is stupid or airheaded, though - she is quite intelligent; she has to be in order to manage all that paperwork. She's just very... affectionate.

Extremely Short Storylet That Describes Kilara's Situation In Half Of A Nutshell:

Kaere staggered into Lakota's room, her glasses slipping down her long white muzzle. "Lakota!" the wolf gasped. "I can't take it any longer!"
The gold-and-black wolf blinked at Kaere. "Take what? A bath? You kind of need one." She waved one black-furred paw in front of her muzzle.
"No," Kaere replied, deigning to ignore Lakota's quip. "Kilara. I can't take Kilara any more."
"Oh," Lakota said, her gray-green eyes crinkling in a conspirator's smile. "What do you suggest we do?"
Just then, the two wolves were interrupted by a whirlwind of fur and hugs. Kilara herself bounded into the room, pouncing first on Kaere and then on Lakota, prostrating them onto the ground with eager hugs. "Kae-kae!" Kilara shrieked. Kaere cringed as the collie administered another spine-cracking hug. "Kota!" Not even the gold-and-black wolf was spared from the hugfest.
"Kilara," Lakota managed after the collie's frenzy had passed, "Kaere and I were just speaking about you."
Kaere scowled sourly and massaged her bruised ribs.
    "Oh?" Kilara asked, smiling eagerly.
"We've decided we're going to find you a new packbrother or packsister," Lakota finished.
    "HOORAY!" Kilara shrieked.
Kaere's scowl deepened. "There goes the neighborhood."
