Nacen showed natural inclination into the magical arts and Jacen showed none. In order to attempt to balance the boys' arguments while growing up, their parents apprenticed them to Lakota in Splintyr in the hopes that she and her companions could... well, "even" the boys out. Physical Description: (NACEN) - Nacen is tall, buff, and muscled, nothing like the "typical" stereotype of a scholarly mage. He wears wire-rimmed glasses. (JACEN) - Jacen is short and sort of noodly, much thinner than his brother and with thicker fur. he walks hunched-over, usually, and often appears to be on the cusp of getting a cold. Personality: (NACEN) - Not exactly pushy, Nacen is nevertheless the more dominant of the twins. He is too well-bred and properly brought-up to be rude or cruel, but he often speaks without thinking, a "habit" his twin is trying to break him of. (JACEN) - Shy and withdrawn, Jacen loves his experiments and quiet things such as plants. He is infinitely patient, something that serves him well when dealing with his brother. Abilities: (NACEN) - Nearly unlimited, "free-form" magical abilities. By murmuring arcane words and phrases, Nacen can bend the world - and reality itself - to his will. As such, he has no "specific" spells or abilities, but there's not much he can't do. (JACEN) - Utterly magicless, Jacen has taught himself to have a whipcord-fast mine and an eidetic memory. He can solve complex mathematical equations at the drop of a hat, and can work through logic puzzles in a blur. "Duality" Story!
